Tasks of the Center
The Quality Assurance Center shall lead the University’s quality assurance and accreditation system, oversee the implementation of quality policies and continuous improvement initiatives, and shall undertake the following responsibilities:
- Develop the University’s quality assurance and accreditation policies and operational plans and monitor their implementation in coordination with Faculties and administrative units.
- Provide technical and professional consultation to the University’s Faculties and units regarding the implementation of NAQAAE standards and support their preparation for accreditation and maintenance thereof.
- Supervise the establishment and continuous development of internal quality assurance systems within the University’s Faculties and ensure their alignment with institutional policies.
- Support Faculties in preparing and implementing self-study reports, annual reports, follow-up reports, and improvement plans, and review them before approval.
- Develop and implement institutional and academic internal review plans, establish internal review teams, and monitor the implementation of recommendations and corrective actions.
- Participate in monitoring the implementation of quality-related strategic plans, measuring institutional and academic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyzing their outcomes, and preparing annual performance reports.
- Promote a culture of quality and institutional excellence among all University members through training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and awareness activities.
- Build and develop the capacities of faculty members, teaching assistants, academic and administrative leaders, and staff in quality assurance, accreditation, strategic planning, teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Monitor stakeholder satisfaction surveys, analyze their findings, and utilize the results in developing and implementing improvement plans.
- Establish and continuously update quality databases, manage documentation and records, and support digital transformation across all Center activities.
- Prepare periodic reports on institutional and academic performance and submit them to the University President and the Board of Directors, including achievement indicators, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate with NAQAAE and relevant national, regional, and international organizations and benefit from distinguished experiences and best practices.
- Support the University’s participation in international rankings, institutional awards, and excellence initiatives to strengthen its competitive standing.
- Propose policies and procedures that ensure the sustainability of continuous improvement and enhance institutional performance.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by the University President or the Board of Directors within the scope of the Center’s mandate.
