Responsibilities of the Central Scheduling Committee

  1. The committee is responsible for managing and organizing the centralized use of educational spaces at the university, including lecture halls, classrooms, laboratories, and similar facilities.
  2. The committee is composed of one or two representatives from each of the university’s ten faculties, and it is tasked with standardizing coordination mechanisms among the faculties.
  3. The committee regularly assesses the educational space needs of the faculties, reviews them, and approves priorities based on the requirements of the educational process and student enrollment levels.
  4. The committee holds regular monthly meetings to present needs, discuss conflicts, and approve distribution and occupancy plans at the university level.
  5. The committee prepares and updates the central occupancy plan and the distribution of halls and laboratories to ensure optimal utilization of the university’s available resources.
  6. The committee organizes the availability of buildings and facilities from any faculty for the benefit of another faculty, when necessary, in accordance with established regulations and without disrupting the educational process.
  7. The committee is responsible for coordinating events and activities (conferences, seminars, celebrations, etc.) during the academic semester by communicating with the committee chair to review available halls and designate suitable spaces.
  8. The committee works to minimize conflicts, ensure fairness and transparency in distribution, and guarantee that the study process is not disrupted or adversely affected due to the allocation of spaces for various activities.
