Center Vision
The Center of International Scholarships and Projects (CrISP) at Horus University – Egypt (HUE) will achieve a prestigious position in scientific research projects at local, regional, and international levels.
Center Mission
The Center of International Scholarships and Projects (CrISP) at Horus University – Egypt (HUE), as a private educational and research institution, seeks to achieve a distinguished reputation for the university by participating in research grants and projects to meet the needs of local, national, and international communities.
Center Goal
To focus on researching new ways to find solutions to the challenges facing humanity, and to continue participating in national and international research proposals, scientific conferences, workshops, and exchange programs.
Sub-Goals of the Center:
• Achieve partnerships with international universities and fostering fruitful research collaboration between Horus University and prestigious universities.
• Submitting high-quality research to funding agencies and winning national and international research proposals such as:
o Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF) in the Arab Republic of Egypt
o Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) and Erasmus+ programs of the European Union, Fulbright Program for training new faculty members, etc.
• Organizing or seeking partnerships to organize and hold scientific conferences. Therefore, if you are interested in learning more about us, do not hesitate to visit us. We are confident that if you do, you will get answers to your questions.
Achievements of the Center
The Science, Technology, and Development Funding Authority financed a new research project (No. 45945) in 2022, led by the principal investigator: Assistant Professor Dr. Omer Alkelany, Director of Center of International Scholarships and Projects (CrISP) at Horus University – Egypt, and Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Engineering, Horus University – Egypt.
The research project is titled: “Experiential Learning in Computer Engineering; Using Low-Cost Computing Technology for Field Programmable Logic Array (FPGA) Devices.”
